LifeCare Aliance
Description
LifeCare Alliance programs assist older adults or chronically ill residents in Franklin and Madison Counties through eight signature programs. These programs include Meals-on-Wheels, Columbus Cancer Clinic, Project OpenHand-Columbus, Visiting Nurse Association, Senior Dining Centers, Senior Wellness Centers, Help-at-Home, Groceries-to-Go and IMPACT Safety. The overarching goal of the agency is to assist clients in remaining independent and in the comfort of their own homes or the community with dignity, where they want to be. For each older adult or chronically ill person LifeCare Alliance helps keeps in their own home, it saves Ohio taxpayers $62,000 per year.
