The Ogden Theatre was built in 1919 by the same designer as the Bluebird Theater. The Ogden originally hosted weekly organ recitals, dances, lectures, and vaudeville acts - most notably, Harry Houdini. By 1937, it had been converted to a movie theater that featured everything from the classics to the avant garde. In the 1980's it featured the cult movie classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The Ogden Theatre was reopened in 1993 as a music / performance venue. Featuring approximately 150 concerts per year, the Theatre is an official Denver landmark and a national historic landmark. -Indie-music.com
