Aretha Franklin
Aretha Franklin was born in Memphis, Tennessee on March 25, 1942. Considered “The Queen of Soul,” Aretha Franklin (born in 1942) is best known for her acclaimed song “Respect.” An 18-time Grammy Award winner, she was also the first female artist to be welcomed into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
