Bi-Monthly "Enlightainment" Talk Show Will Be A Public Events and Live-Streamed From Boulder, Colorado, and Featured On PBS Rockies, Huffington Post, Care2, elephant journal & Other Mindful Sites.
WHAT: Walk the Talk Show with Waylon Lewis is a live talk show event that will feature interviews with leading yoga teacher Richard Freeman and chef Mary Taylor, both of the Yoga Workshop, and John Douillard, Ayurvedic Practitioner author. Live traditional fiddle music will be played by Adam Agee. Before and after-show happy hour at Shine with deals on Shine's home brew and appetizers.
WHERE: Shine Restaurant & Gathering Place, 2027 13th Street in Downtown Boulder.
WHEN: Thursday, February 9, 2012: Doors open at 6:00. No admittance after doors are closed at 6:50p.m. Live taping of show runs from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. Happy hour until 9:00 p.m. Walk the Talk Show with Waylon Lewis events will be at Shine every other Thursday night to follow with local, national and international guests, both famous and everyday.

After four years of rebuilding, during which Walk the Talk Show has only taken place 20 times (featuring guests such as "Yoga Mogul" John Friend, Michael Pollan, Dr. Andrew Weil, Sister Helen Prejean (Dead Man Walking), Walk the Talk Show is back. And this time it's got one of the leading "mindfulness" web sites in the world behind it.

Walk the Talk Show with Waylon Lewis offers bi-monthly public taping held at Boulder's new eco Shine Restaurant, in a private event space. The talk shows will be taped and live-streamed in front of a live studio audience of 100 people and produced as video segments hosted on PBS Rockies, Huffington Post, Care2, elephantjournal.com along with elephant's many allied sites. With a combined social media firepower of 200,000 facebook fans and 150,000 twitter followers, not to mention the popularity of the many guests and bands, Walk the Talk Show aims to be the first ubiquitous online-only talk show in television history.
Walk the Talk Show with Waylon Lewis focuses on issues and personalities in sustainability, adventure, spirituality, education, consumerism, food, ecofashion, politics, wellness, the arts "anything that helps us to live a good life that also happens to be good for others and our planet."
"We've interviewed senators, congressmembers, Deepak Chopra, Bill McKibben - we've appeared at Sundance, Natural Products Expos, music and yoga festivals. We've headlined the historic Boulder Theater. But we've never had the chance to expand nationally - internationally - with a strong social and new media base. I'm very much looking forward to the opportunity to share the word about living a good, fun life beyond our core or choir," Waylon Lewis says.
Adapting the classic talk show format - monologue, segment, two interviews and a band, with a houseband - Walk the Talk Show with Waylon Lewis is free online, and open to the public in Boulder. The show will take place from 7 to 8 p.m., every other Thursday of the month, beginning on February 9th, 2012 with leading yoga teacher Richard Freeman and chef Mary Taylor of The Yoga Workshop, and Dr. John Douillard, leading Ayurvedic author.
Tickets are $3, or bring a can or organic something for foodshare. The first 50 to arrive at the first three shows will get a golden ticket good for free admittance all season long.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. The show will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. There will be no admittance after the doors are closed at 6:50 pm, as this is a live taping.
