The Community College Workforce Alliance (CCWA) will offer a Create Your Next Job - Become an Entrepreneur business training course Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at CCWA - North Run Business Park (1630 E. Parham Road, Henrico). The introductory course for the Richmond GATE (Growing America Through Entrepreneurship) program is free and open to dislocated workers who wish to start a business in the Greater Richmond region. The Community College Workforce Alliance (CCWA) is building the region's workforce as a partnership between J. Sargeant Reynolds and John Tyler Community Colleges - serving four cities and 12 counties of Central Virginia. The organization provides non-credit training, customized instruction, consulting and educational programs for more than 14,000 class participants representing nearly 1,000 employers in the region. CCWA offers on-line registration, customer support and courses delivered by adjunct faculty in three convenient locations and in virtual classrooms. Facility rentals are also available for business meetings.
