Artists of the Cortona Sessions for New Music

Description

The OSU Department of Music will host guest artists and composers from the Cortona Sessions for New Music in the finale concert of the first OSU Festival of Contemporary Music. Will include works by Grammy-nominated composer Gabriela Lena Frank, as well as music by Forrest Pierce, Ken Ueno, and OSU's Igor Karaca. Performers include clarinetist Gregory Oakes, flutist Mary Fukushima, and OSU faculty members pianist Michael Kirkendoll, cellist Meredith Blecha, and saxophonist Jeffrey Loeffert. Free and open to the public
