Celebrities and lay people make money with their voice. Find out if you have what it takes to be a voiceover artist. Receive an overview of the voiceover industry. Learn what distinguishes voiceover from on air announcing and other performance specializations the major categories of voiceover work where the opportunities are and aren't what it takes to become a professional. Samples of outstanding contemporary voice talent will be played to illustrate the variety of styles embraced by this profession. Jim Conlan (BFA, U of Michigan) is the co-owner of Radio Works. This nationally acclaimed agency, established in 1987, has created commercials for Administaff, Jiffy Lube, Ford, GM and many others. He has been doing voiceovers since 1969.
