Description
This class focuses on the positive effects of using social networks and how parents can engage with their children to build stronger, trusting relationships online. Topics include: The do's and don'ts of finding and following your kids on Facebook and twitter, how social networks are already being used to engage parents, how social networks encourage relationship building and cultural awareness within their children, the benefits of sharing interests and joining groups and how blogging can be therapeutic. Mickey Bryant is CEO of Dotcom Directions, an internet consulting & social network training company. Mickey has served as presenter for S.C.O.R.E, Houston's small business workshops and been a contributor to the 950 AM Technology show.
