The City of Richmond is building a sustainable future and we need your input! Join Mayor Dwight C. Jones for a Community Workshop to help shape the Sustainability Plan for Richmondâs future.
Thursday, February 16, from 5 p.m. to 6:30p.m. (registration and light refreshments begin at 4:30 p.m.) at the Richmond Police Training Academy Auditorium.
At the Community Workshop, the City will present work done to date on RVA Green: A Roadmap to Sustainability and seek community feedback to inform the next steps in the development of the Sustainability Plan. RVA Green is the first sustainability plan for the City of Richmond and the City will work with the community in a process to develop a framework for sustainability. The City launched the website, www.richmondgov.com/sustainabilityplan, to help residents keep track of the planning process and provide input. The City of Richmond is committed to sustainability and we want all city residents to enjoy an improved quality of life, a healthy environment and enhanced economic opportunity.
