The general theme for this year is Infant / Child Nutrition and Health.
The keynote lecturer is Alejandro Cravioto, MD, PhD. Dr. Cravioto is from Mexico, and is currently the Director of the ICDDR,B in Dhaka, Bangladesh. His lecture is titled Food for Thought: Mainstreaming Nutrition to Improve Child Health.
Other speakers include Erica Anstey, doctoral candidate, and Maureen Groer, RN, PhD, FAAN, and a panel discussion of community and consumer issues in infant and child nutrition.
