DACC Financial Aid College Goal Sunday Event

Description
Participants will get hands-on help by professional financial aid specialists in completing the 2012-13 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Completing the FAFSA is the first step in determining eligibility for Federal and/or State student aid.
You will need to bring: your 2011 Federal Tax return; your parents 2011 Federal Tax Return; you and your parentâs 2011 W-2 forms, 1099, or any other taxable income; and total amount of child support paid or received for 2011.
The 2012-13 school year begins with the fall 2012 semester at most colleges. DACCâs fall 2012 semester begins August 20, 2012.
Make plans to attend the workshop and complete your FAFSA and avoid missing funding opportunities by missing deadlines. There will be refreshments and door prizes. You do not need to register for the event but should plan to arrive at 1:00 p.m. Childcare will be offered free of charge at the DACC Child Development Center from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
