Introduction to Alpine Racing Clinic

Description
Hidden Valley Race Club is offering a 2-day Introduction to Alpine Racing Clinic that includes 6 hours of race-related training for 8 - 16 year old alpine skiers who want to see if alpine racing might be for them! Skiers will participate in structured drills and instruction, get skill-appropriate experience running gates on a GS course, get an opportunity to talk to HVRC skiers about racing and have fun!
Schedule:
Feb. 11, 2012 - Clinic 10 a.m. - Noon, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Feb. 12, 2012 - Clinic 10 a.m. - Noon; Open Cup Race 1 - 3 p.m.; Awards after the Open Cup Race 3:30 p.m.
Cost - $140. Pre-registration required at Hidden Valley Ski and Board School. Cash or check only; non-refundable. Racers will be supervised on the hill but must be responsible for themselves, must be 8 - 16 years of age, have the ability to ride lifts unassisted, ski all Hidden Valley Resort terrain under control and stop on command. Lift ticket (not included in clinic fee) is required.
