The San Francisco Botanical Garden has one of the finest collections of deciduous magnolias in the United States. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate these garden treasures at the peak of their bloom. Join SFBGS docent Dr. Joseph Barbaccia and marvel at the Botanical Garden’s collection of magnificent magnolias and michelias.
A special emphasis of the afternoon will be the symbolism of these magnolia trees and flowers as well as their cultural requirements here in
Bay Area gardens. Don’t forget to bring your camera!
