Description

Frontman Joe Keith and bass guitarist Eric Daniel formed Nine Days Gone in 2009. Drummer Luke Thomas joined shortly after. The band writes and records all of their music in their studio in Washington DC. Thier Influences come from alternative/punk bands like Green Day and Blink 182. Nine Days Gone started playing shows in the Summer of 2011, and since then they have gained popularity across the DC metro area. With music featured on the radio, a full album on iTunes, and a supporting fanbase, Nine Days Gone hopes to continue their success as they prepare to release their second album in the near future.

Jonathan Varga, of "One Third Dork" fame, rose from the ashes of the band's 2007 break-up and approached singer/songwriter Peter Bechtel and "intimidatingly-good" guitarist/bassist Tim Rader to form a new band. The three instantly felt a creative cosmic connection and collaborated to concoct a bevy of musical material. Months would pass; time would be squandered. Band lineups would shift like the earth's crust throughout millennia. The trio's future was deemed uncertain. Enter Andrew Stah. In the winter of 2010, Jonathan, Peter, and Andrew found themselves in a room creating spontaneous sonic synergy with their instruments. Riding on an energetic high from a few impromptu performances, these "three amigos," if you will, decided to officially band together under the name "Carry the One". Months later, the trio decided to welcome Tim Rader back into the mix. Each member of the band hails from a different musical background: Jon in pop-punk; Peter in hip-hop and R&B; Andy in blues; Tim in metal. Despite their differences, the band strives to meld their wide range of influences into an aural amalgam any ear could accept. "Carry the One" marvels at the sound of unique rhythmic and tonic varieties and attempts to include something "different" and/or "interesting" in each of its creations.

A fresh Alternative/Punk Rock band from Arlington, VA with a sound consisting of sweet guitar riffs, smooth bass lines, and catchy choruses. Similar bands include: Blink 182, Sum 41, Jimmy Eat World, Taking Back Sunday, and Cartel.
