Description
San Diego’s only comedy show geared toward the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community returns Feb. 9 and features an all-LGBT line-up, including local comedians Sarah Burford and Sean Wherley, and Los Angeles-based comics Paul Case, Matina Bevis, and headliner Chantal Carrere. The Laugh Out Proud Comedy Show begins at 8 p.m. and is held at Martinis Above Fourth, 3940 Fourth Avenue, Suite 200, in San Diego. Carrere’s credits are numerous, including being named one of the funniest lesbian comedians in America by Curve magazine, a finalist in the Laugh Across America comedy contest, a two-time winner of the Russian River Comedy Competition, and starring in Hot Comics on Here TV! The show has no cover charge, and is ages 21 and up. Guests are invited to come early for drinks and dinner in the lounge setting of Martinis Above Fourth. Laugh Out Proud Comedy Show is produced by San Diego comedians Sean Wherley and Sarah Burford, and is designed to showcase the region’s top LGBT and allied comedians in a safe environment for the LGBT community.
