FREE Open to the public on Saturday & Sunday, February 11th & 12th, 2012. Tour the Pioneer & Military Memorial Park Cemetery while you attend "Arizona Best Fest Centennial Festival." See the graves of Valley pioneer notables as Jacob Waltz of the famed Lost Dutchman mine, Darrell 'Lord' Duppa credited with naming the villages of Phoenix and Tempe, Tom Graham the last man killed in AZ's Pleasant Valley Wars, the first and several early Maricopa County sheriffs, and many more of Phoenix's early pioneers. Tour Smurthwaite House Museum built in 1897 and now the home to memeorabilla and antiques from the Valley's pioneer era.
