Description

The Brave Way Self Defense System is not a martial art and will not take months or years to learn.
 
The Brave Way Self Defense Program is an effective self-defense system based on instinctive principles that are easy to learn.The techniques we teach work regardless of your size, strength, speed, experience or physical ability.
 
This 2 hour class will be held at the Lake County Family YMCA. If you would like to attend please RSVP here.  ALSO, YOU MUST contact the YMCA at 847-367-6797 to resister and pay for the class. Please note each park district or YMCA charges a different fee for the Brave Way Class and you must contact the respective park district or YMCA to pay for the class.
 
Some of the things you will learn:

To defend against grabs, chokes, punches & kicks from single & multiple attackers
Effective Rape Defense & prevention techniques as well as Gun and Knife Defense.
Personal Safety advice to help anticipate and avoid hostile or violent situations.
Learn to quickly make a plan of action if you feel threatened.

 
We will also be happy to offer recommendations to any scenarios you may want to address.
 
Upon completion of The Brave Way program, participants will possess the confidence and techniques necessary to help them properly defend themselves and protect others.
 
The Brave Way instructors have advanced multiple martial arts backgrounds, security, self-defense training and military experience.
