Middle School Acting Workshop

Description
Poplarville Academy of Performing Arts "Middle School Workshop" at the Dixon Theatre.
Workshop will last through the month March and we will have two performances at the end of March!
Workshop begins Thursday, March 1 until Friday, March 30 - promptly at 4:00p.m. until 5:45p.m. (snacks will be provided at 3:30p.m.& end at 3:50p.m) Exact dates for workshop - Thurs, March 1, Monday - Thursday March 5 - 8, 12 - 15 & 19 - 22 Monday - Friday, March 26 - 30
Students will learn the basics of stage acting, lighting, set design, program design, and more of all the workings of community theatre.
This would be a great opportunity for those who have already shown an interest in acting or play production, but also a fantastic opportunity to approach acting and theatre for the first time!
The play will be a slapstick comedy based on Geoffrey Chaucer's "The Canterbury Tales". If your child may be interested in participating please check out our website for updates at poplarvilleapa.com
Cost for the Workshop is $95 which will include a daily snacks, t-shirt, certificate upon completion, and 2 tickets for one of the performances.
