Description
Every session of the Artist's way starts with introductions and reviewing where we are in the book. There are exercises designed to complement the process. Whenever, possible I will bring other artists to share their experience and perspective. This Artist’s Way meeting features our guest speaker, Emilie Pormen Bush, an Atlanta based novelist. She is the author of “Chenda and Airship Brofman”, “The Gospel According to Verdu” and now a children’s book : “Her Majesty’s Explorer” More details to come For more information on her website is: www CoalCitySteam.com. More about the Artist's Way: "Artist's Way" is as book written by Julie Cameron to nurture and develop creative people through exercises and readings. Blocks are uncovered, old dreams and ambitions revived and a way to celebrate and integrate the creative in your life become possible. This group is open to all mediums. We have writers, painters, mixed media, and musicians…. Everyone is welcome. The cost is a love offering payable at the meeting. Bring your copy of the "Artist's Way" and a notebook and let the adventure begin. Directions: We will be in Ste 116. From Sandy plains and 75- turn right onto E Piedmont, Go to next light near Stadium restaurant on right- turn right. Building is on Left. Office is around the building last door on the right. From GA120W- Turn on E Piedmont where the YMCA and Publix. Go until you see LA Fitness, We are next door to that shopping center by the light and the Stadium restaurant. If you reach Sandy plains- you have gone too far. Turn around and follow directions above.
