EOTO is an electronic jam band consisting of Michael Travis and Jason Hann. Eoto was an acronym originally standing for "End Of Time Observatory". There was some confusion by fans as to what the letters stood for since their first studio outing was called "Elephants Only Talk Occasionally. There was a time when, while giving tickets away at radio stations, callers had to make up what the letters in EOTO stood for. A Facebook contest on their site led to a fan winning with "Euphoria Often Takes Over." Eoto became the name of the band as Japanese fans noted that EOTO means "Good Sound" in Japanese - Wikipedia
