Description

An all female African-American historical performance group, whose programs focus on the dynamics of race and gender in the United States shortly following the beginning of the Civil War.
The production is comprised of a series of monologues which depict the lives of three African American women who are escaping from slavery, using their own skill and ingenuity. This one-act play was written, directed and researched by Dr. Nancy J. Dawson.
