The newspaper comics page is known for its sense of tradition. The Katzenjammer Kids is still in syndication more than 110 years since its debut, and popular favorites Peanuts, The Family Circus, Blondie, Beetle Bailey and Dennis The Menace are among the comics still going strong as they've passed the half-century mark.
