Description
grow a mustache and raise money for Safe Kids South Carolina, a program to prevent
injuries to children.
HOW IT WORKS. During the four-week growing season starting on Thursday, Jan. 19
at Tin Roof in Columbia growers sprout sweet mustaches. Growers shave their faces,
except for the mustache, a minimum of one time per week and solicit donations from
friends, family, co-workers, and people in the community.
Call it a facial hair marathon, without the exertion, cramping or dehydration. And, you
get pledges like a marathon. At the end of the growing season, Safe Kids South Carolina
will host a mustache competition (âStashe Bash) at Tin Roof on Thursday, Feb. 9.
