Description
On Thursday, February 16 at 8:00p.m., star of stage, screen & TV, recording artist and author Patti LuPone will perform her show, The Gypsy in My Soul!!! Tony Award winner for Best Actress in a Musical for Evita and Gypsy, and nominations for Best Actress in a Musical for Anything Goes, Oliver and Sweeny Todd. she created the role of Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, in which she received an Olivier Award nomination (The English version of the Tony's) for Best Actress in a Musical. She won the Olivier Award for her role as Fantine in the original London stage version of Les Miserables. This year she won a Tony for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. Her film credits include, Driving Miss Daisy, State & Main, Heist and many more. She starred in the TV drama LBJ: The Early Years as Lady Bird Johnson and won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress on Frasier. She has a recurring role on NBC's Law & Order as defense attorney Ruth Miller. Her list of credits goes on and on.
