Activities that your engineering and technical staff may regard as routine could actually qualify as experimental development.
This seminar will provide specifics of the R&D Tax Credit program and help attendees understand how they can use the program to reduce both their Federal and State tax liability.
The types of R&D costs and activities that are eligible will be outlined and recent changes to the tax code will be reviewed.
Of interest to companies currently in an NOL position, the Federal R&D tax credit has a carry forward of up to 20 years and RI State program 7 years.
We will also be reviewing other incentive programs related to R&D in Rhode Island.
