Description
Now that we're starting to see beta releases of Joomla 2.5, we expect the community will be dead on in their planned release of Joomla 2.5 at the end of January 2012. At our meetup, we'll explore some of the highlights on a live Joomla 2.5 site and discuss the options for those sites still in the Joomla 1.5, 1.6 or 1.7 versions. We'll provide open networking and troubleshooting starting at 5:30pm. As the training center has desktop computers available for every attendee, we'll basically run an open lab setup with the more experienced members of the group available to answer your Joomla! questions, whatever they may be. We'll begin the presentations promptly at 6:00 pm with introductions and then proceed to our Joomla! backup discussion. Following that we'll host an open forum for anyone present to ask or present anything they like about Joomla! - kind of a lightning round forum. In addition to desktops available for every attendee, we'll have a projector and screen along with WiFi. Bring your laptops if you'd like. Don't miss a great event!
