Fruit Tree Pruning and Grafting Workshops

Back by popular demand, our fruit tree pruning and grafting workshops have been scheduled for Tuesday, February 21.
Join special guest presenter, John Strang, from the UK College of Agriculture's Horticulture Department, as he demonstrates the proper methods for pruning and grafting fruit trees.
The grafting workshop will be offered at the Extension Office at 10 AM and repeated at 6 PM, with a limit of 50 people per session. Both sessions are expected to fill quickly, so call the Extension office at 606-864-4167 to reserve your space.
The pruning demonstration will be conducted from 1:30 - 3:00 PM at a location to be determined. There is no limit on class size, but registration is necessary so directions to the pruning site can be mailed.
Apple and pear rootstock are available from the Extension office for $1 each. Orders will be taken until the day of the workshop or until supplies are gone.
