Description
Join two guest poets, Toni Alexander and Amy Pence, as Callanwolde celebrates the art and performance of poetry with readings in the unique setting of the Callanwolde Library.
Toni Alexander (l) aka "Najuma the Storyteller" has performed storytelling throughout Atlanta at such venues as the Atlanta History Center, Zoo Atlanta, Hammonds House, The National Black Arts Festival and The Decatur Arts Festival. Toni is in the process of publishing her first book of poetry, A Candle In the Light.
Amy Pence's (r) first full collection of poetry, The Decadent Lovely, was released last November by Main Street Rag. Her prose has appeared in Poets & Writers, The Writer's Chronicle, and Storyglossia, and her poems have been published in The Oxford American, New American Writing, Drunken Boat and other journals.
