Are you or someone you love struggling to deal with the challenges of living with diabetes?
Peer support is a way to link people living with a particular condition to share knowledge and experiences. It helps empower individuals to make changes and decisions that enhance their lives. Peer support complements your professional health care by creating the emotional, social and practical assistance necessary for managing the disease and staying healthy each and every day.
Join the JCC Diabetes Peer Support Group moderated by Andrew P. Mandell Mr. Diabetes - senior citizen, insulin dependent diabetic, Executive Director of Defeat Diabetes Foundation.
Meets at noon the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Bring a healthy brown bag lunch and join us!
