Description
Mark the birthday of Ohio Civil War hero and 19th U.S. President Rutherford B. Hayes by experiencing life during the Civil War. More than 500 re-enactors camp on the grounds of the Hayes estate for this two-day living-history event sponsored by Memorial Health Care System, with additional funding by from Mosser Construction, Inc. The highlight is a formal, military graveside service. Special discounted tours of the Hayes Home and Hayes Museum are available to Encampment attendees. Discounted tours of Hayes Home and Museum available.
