Experience two of Netherlands-based Arch 8’s most physically awe-inspiring works – “No Man Is an Island” and “Tetris” – when TPAC presents a rare public performance of "Tetris+" in James K. Polk Theater on February 18, at 1:00 p.m.

How does this gravity-defying combination of acrobatics, extreme physicality, and movement fit together? First up is “No Man Is an Island,” which pushes the limits of possibility as one person climbs, stretches, and shifts his weight atop another without touching the ground. Then it’s “Tetris,” inspired by the addictive puzzle game and the twists and turns of a Rubik’s Cube, that has performers fitting, merging, stacking, and combining in various feats. If you’ve ever been a kid who can’t sit still – who wants to hurdle over furniture and scale the walls – “Tetris” is for you. It is about fitting into a group, but also staying true to yourself.

Designed for Grades 2-6, this family-friendly presentation is the first of two public offerings of the high-quality international productions presented in TPAC Education's annual Season for Young People.
