Chant Torah with Cantor Fishbein

Have you always wanted to learn the secrets behind the art of chanting Torah? In a series of lessons, Cantor Fishbein will be teaching about the history of Biblical cantillation (chanting), the trope system itself, and how to apply the trope system to the words of Torah. Participants will work in a classroom setting, as well as one-on-one with Cantor Fishbein, to learn how to chant a particular portion of Torah. An ability to read Hebrew (letters, vowels and simple words) is required. The class sessions will conclude with a special Torah service on Saturday, March 23, where participants will chant the verses of Torah they learn throughout the course.
