The Original Emancipation Proclamation
Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) - Nashville, TN
Tickets are timed reservations, and paper tickets will not be issued for web reservations. Instead a receipt will be issued with the tour time and number of reservations. To gain entry to the exhibit, visitors will need to provide the name of the person who purchased the reservation. The museum will have a list of names of the patrons who made reservations and the number of reservations purchased for each time slot. Once the number of reservations are claimed for each name, no additional entries will be allowed under that name.
The original Emancipation Proclamation will be on view at the Tennessee State Museum for just seven days, beginning on February 12 and continuing through February 18. It is part of the National Archives exhibition, Discovering the Civil War. Timed reservations are available on the quarter hour; however, there will also be limited walk-in availability 45 minutes after the hour.
