REGIONS FREE DAY AT THE FRIST CELEBRATES DEBUT OF DUTCH GOLDEN AGE EXHIBIT
Frist Center For the Visual Arts - Nashville, TN
Regions Bank and the Frist Center for the Visual Arts present “Regions Free Day at the Frist,” which coincides with the debut of “Rembrandt and the Dutch Golden Age: Highlights from the Detroit Institute of Arts.” Featuring more than 70 paintings by Dutch masters, this exhibit was selected from the Detroit Institute of Arts’ Dutch art collection, one of the finest outside of the Netherlands. Also on display during the Free Day, guests may enjoy, “German Expressionism from the Detroit Institute of Arts,” “Camille Utterback: Tracing Time/Marking Movement” and “Young Tennessee Artists: 2012 Statewide Upper-Level Studio Art.” “Regions Free Day at the Frist” is the bank’s February installment in the 2013 “Regions Free Days” program – an annual initiative offering free access to one area blockbuster attraction or event each month. In March, “Regions Free Days” will provide free admission to a theatrical performance of “The Wind in the Willows” at the Nashville Children’s Theatre. Details on how to reserve tickets and additional upcoming “Regions Free Days” will be released in the coming weeks.
