A National Historic Landmark, Ryman Auditorium has a country music tradition that goes back over a hundred years, to when it first opened its doors in 1892. Prior to its restoration in 1994, it housed the Grand Ole Opry for almost 30 years. The Ryman stage has been occupied by such greats as Patsy Cline, James Brown, and Mae West.
